Time to check in.

Here we go.
This is my first post in my first blog before our first trip to Asia. We leave tomorrow afternoon. It's 11:30 p.m. and what I'm thinking now is that I could have checked in to our first leg (to S.F. on Alaska Airlines) six hours or so ago. Heck, in an hour I can check in to our second leg. That one is on China Air and takes us to slightly beyond the edge of the known world. Hmm. Wonder why I haven't checked in. It occurs to me that a part of me doesn't actually want to do this trip. Talking about it was fun. Doing it is a bit daunting. Time to channel my mom and think about all the money we'll lose if we don't go.

Hey Gerry -- good for you! You will be glad you made this trip. Think of all the wonderful things you and Nancy will be exposed to. I will look forward to hearing about your adventures and seeing all the great images you are going to capture. Have fun and blog often. Michael
ReplyDeleteOops, where did that comment go? Oh well, I'll try to remember what I said! Soon you'll be off on the first step of the trip of a lifetime: Sea-Tac and security! I hope it's the worst thing you have to face on the entire journey! Remember, just keep laughing and everything will work out just fine. Love you guys so much and I'll be missing ya lots!
